XBOX *** OCUK UMVC3 Tournament ***

Me and TzeChungShek played our game today. We're friends in real life so it was pretty easy to organise.
He went with his Phoenix team, Wolverine/Akuma/Phoenix, winning 3 in a row against my usual team. I then won 3 in a row.

He switched to his X23/Doom/Akuma team, winning 1 more, before I took the game in the end.

Final score:
Sceno 5
TzeChungShek 4


Tough for him, but in his defence he had just been at an exam and was desperate to play 2012.

Why lie sceno? I dont know u irl. Dont make me sound like I make time to actually meet people i know on xbl :P And dont lie about my team! I was using Phoenix Wright, Rocket Raccoon and Viewtiful Joe XD

Lol all jokes aside it was a good and close game. I wasn't actually expecting to get any games and I thought you were taking the **** when i was winning ¬_¬

Not a Zergling just beat me 5 - 2, that's me out =) Can all of you please cross your fingers and toes that my team is sorted by the 2nd tournament we have lol :P Set pretty much went as I thought, once Nova came in things got a little more interesting but he got a good portion of damage on my Nova on entry sometimes in the set so I fell to pieces after that.
 
thats not bad considering you could only play one character well at the moment and Not a Zergling has improved a bit since he play me a lot. his switch to taskmaster made his team much more damaging and fellica is a mobile and dangerous character now.

i told him to work on his combos, did he drop stuff much against you? anyway, front page updated, and if you get on often at around evening times (which is the only time i am on apart from weekends and monday), spend a bit of time in training mode to work on combos from different position of the screen, i can whip you into shape in no time.

He dropped some stuff now and again, not much. I'll be spending loads of time in training mode experimenting and practicing etc etc. We'll get on for a practice soon, Artheas aswell he's offered me some Akuma tips so that will also be helpful.
 
I play offline a bit. Those were my first online games of marvel for a long time, the lag threw me off a bit I don't usually drop many combos (I admittedly don't get many chances to combo but when I do I don't normally drop them).
Once I find a team I like and that works I will start to head down to Marvel tournaments and really learn the game.
 
Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas everyone! I have decided to extend the deadline for one more day, because I forgot today is Christmas day and people will be spending more time doing other stuff rather than playing marvel. So ravl has one more day to play before he is sent to loser (although he is going to lose to me anyway;):p, but at least I will give him a chance to go down swinging).

I caught you anyway and I took it 5-1. You had the upper hand in a few games, but you missed the opportunity with Swiss cheese. I think I have caught you off guard with Iron Fist, since you don't have any match up knowledge against him (I mean who does!) and you are not used to the speed of my rush down. I don't think you should have taken out Akuma, he was doing lot of work for you and he made a good comeback in one of the games. I am up to play a bit more later if anyone wants it.
