Xbox One Audio Help

Hi,

My monitor doesn't have audio out or inbuilt speakers, id like to get audio coming out of my pc speakers, video will be through HDMI.

How can I achieve this?

Just buy yourself a digital to analog audio converter they are only a tenner on ebay

Some internal motherboards and soundcards has an optical in. If it does just but a toslink optical cable and you are sorted.

ok I have bought the above but im still missing cables.

Im using the Creative T40 Series II speakers btw.

I need a cable, a cable that will go from the red and white inputs on the converter to the back of the speakers, though I will need to be y-splitter to go into the back of my soundcard.....a creative z soundcard.

yep just got one of them, but still no audio on my xbox one out of my speakers

with the cabling as it is the speakers are fine through PC, but absolutely no audio out of xbox one.

My config is:-

1 - toslink from xbox one into audio converter
2 - 3.5mm ysplitter from speaker with one 3.5mm going into soundcard and the other into rca

Do you have to configure the audio out via optical rather than hdmi ?

Settings>Display & Sound>Optical Audio

Then there are a few options to try if I remember correctly.

Cant check mine at the moment as the ladies are watching TV.

after some cable fiddling I now get sound out of my speakers through the xbox one..............a loud buzzing noise
