Xbox one controller cable

Hi I purchased a xbox one controller wired from overclockers in February ! The cable is now loose and keep disconnecting from the PC. Anyone know where I could get a replacement cable possibly the official one.

Be very careful with cables for the Xbox One controller. I have found that standard USB cables tend to be lose.

I ended up purchasing the Play and Charge kit just for the cable. An expensive way of doing it but there cable is designed so that it actually grips better in the controller port.

Hopefully that kind of answers your question?

Is the cable that come with the controller a standard micro usb cable ? Seen a few on Amazon but everyone complaining they brake easily. I may have to do that I wish Microsoft would release the wireless connector already how long does it take.

I just bought a cheap usb lead from ebay which seems to be working fine so far. Have played over 100 hours on GTAV, completed the walking dead 2, Metal gear rising, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil remake and Resident Evil 5 and it hasn't disconnected once. Think it was less than £2 from ebay..

I think the cheaper leads are better as they tend to have a smaller, lighter connector that is less likely to work loose once plugged into the pad.

Hopefully the wireless isn't far off as I hate having to use a wire. Either that or the new steam pad, if it's any good.

I had the same problem with the usb cable that came with the xbox one controller after just a couple of months usage, bought one of those usb orb cables from ebay and it seems more solid where it plugs into the pad.
