Xbox one controller on PC

Do I just buy a standard Xbox one wireless controller or is their anything else I need

Yeah I have to use a micro usb for my xbox one controller. I also have to download drivers on win 8.1

Does it have to be XBO? Have you considered maybe a wired or even wireless 360 controller? I use one with the receiver and it works great.

Need a micro usb lead as well, plug it in then it will download/install drivers.

I have a wireless PS4 controller, bought a £15 bluetooth dongle and it works flawlessly.

I wanted an XB1 but the lack of wireless (as yet) support and the smaller size of it made me switch.

Wouldn't native controller/game support be better though? that's why I got the Xbox controller, plus the impulse triggers are a nice touch, don't mind plugging mine in via usb for now anyway.

The software is easy to use, as for the X,A etc buttons, a lifetime of playing on console means I know where the buttons are and don't need to look for them.

Worked fine for me.
