Xbox One Controller Windows 10

as for the wireless adapter not turning on go into your device manager and turn power saving mode off that stopped that issue for me.

My xbone controller has always been flawless when connected via usb to my win 10 pc, but the other day I decided to fire up zsnes for the first time in a long time.

The xbone controller now doesn't seem to work. it used to be fine. Hardly a massive issue but I thought it was strange. Perhaps it is affected by the issue in this thread?

This is really bad, 2 of my windows 10 laptop are having laggy performance, the fan on my gaming laptop is running louder. All of these problems go away after uninstalling both cumulative updates mentioned in the article. The problem is more on gaming, both laptops of mine sutter and the other one super laggy mouse movement trhough menus, as soon as i unplug my xbox one controller wireless adapter or wired from pc, everything seems normal.

Is it still worth buying an xbox one controller? I have a 360 controller but I like the idea of the vibrating triggers.

Do you know if the triggers do vibrate on PC? And I have also read that the controller vibration can feel a bit odd on the One controller compared to 360, due to it have more sensors/degrees of vibration.

For only ~ £35 I am tempted to pick one up just for racing games if the triggers do vibrate and give you that extra 'feeling'.

Have been using an Xbox One controller for almost two years on the PC, and have never had the triggers vibrate, with racing games or otherwise.

I have just 'upgraded' from a perfectly working xbox 360 controller to a 'one' and now spend the first 10 mins of every time precious gaming session trying to get the controller to connect. I assume its not a faulty controller as I have found so much info on the web about the issue.

I'll try the above and report back!

plugged my wireless adapter back in 2 days ago and have had no problems since. windows 10 is all updated. make sure you do go into device manager and turn power saving mode off on the dongle.

Wireless adapter works flawlessly with both of my xbox one controllers on Win10. Both intermittently drop out when connecting to the Xbox One though. Exactly the same distance and environment.

I removed all drivers, disabled fire wall, inserted wireless adaptor into back of PC and suddenly it sprang to life and auto connected etc!
