personally i think sony do care about the customer more than microsoft.

it annoys me how microsoft are charging more for inferior cheaper hardware too, ps4 has better hardware cheaper price, i know it has no camera but adding that it would still be cheaper(yes i know kinect camera seems miles better), and if you take kinect away how much would x1 be then 350? 330? if so then i still think thats too much as ps4 has the better hardware.

i feel like they are being such greedy *****, they take the ****, psn plus is giving great up to date games unlike live who didnt give you any games up until recently and those are lets face it a joke. sony has free multiplayer this gen free netflix etc, only recently found out that you cant use netflix and other stuff unless you paying a gold sub for live, you cant even record your poxy 5mins of last gameplay on next gen unless you paying for gold yet sony lets you record 3x as much for free!! im sure theres other stuff too aswell as the whole drm second hand game stuff but this is proof to me that sony care for the cust more than microsoft.


i dont know everything, sony might be bigger thieves then microsoft but i gotta take my hat off for them for having a great piece of kit for a great price and a rewarding subscription service and the freebies.

this is just my take and i have NOT put it up to rub ppl the wrong way so PLEASE dont take it like that

I dont disagree, I just think one sees us as only useful as a meat product while the other sees us more like a pet :p. Both dumb of course...

im not very business minded at all but i think every company sees their customer as profit because our money does give them profit, they make things for us we pay a bit extra so they dont lose out and can carry on providing for us.

i dont have a problem with that as a company has to make profit to give us the things we like, obviously we cant expect things at cost price. its just when companies go ott and take the ****, ok sony may do this but not as much as microsoft hence why i think sony treats us better then microsoft does
 
Indeed, they totally didn't lose everyone's credit card information, or remove features from a console after launch...

Honestly they're as bad as each other, if you can't see that then I worry.

can we just agree that right@this moment in time sony are giving the customer more and treating the customer much better than microsoft?
 
you could argue MS is the better company for listening to its customers and making major policy U turns to keep its customers happy.

One mans U turn is another mans "listening to the customer"

Better to know your customer, than to **** them off and then have to mirror your competitions policies.
 
Looks like game pre-loading wont be available at launch now, though I swear it wasnt mentioned like a Steam pre-load session neither :confused:

Will digitally downloaded games be able to be pre-loaded before release, so that they're simply unlocked and ready to go at 12:01am on the day of release?

Pre-orders are vague and unproven mostly. I have seen conflicting reports all over the place. Some saying PS4 is leading 3-1, some that XB1 is leading 2-1, other numbers in between.

And "nobody" wanting Kinect is hardly right. I want it for a start, and I am the most important gamer in my little world!

IMHO anyone saying flat-out they will never use Kinect are being a bit daft. They have already decided they won't use it without seeing what developers will do with it now it is not a niche peripheral.

FWIW I have both consoles on pre-order, and I may actually buy both (got 67.5 hours overtime paid to me this month! :eek:) but the XB1 exclusive titles interest me more than the PS4's. Which would be the main deciding factor for any gamer really.

Hopefully this sort of stuff becomes something rather good, and not just a forgot about thing we had at launch. But we shouldn't end up depending on it either, we don't all have fibre optic...

Forza 5 is one of the games I'm most excited to play on day one :) I've always liked driving games but the AI has always been really predictable. You know how they're going to take a corner and where you can pass. Thats why these Drivitars sound so appealing to me, hopefully it'll be like multi-player but without the voices :p
