Very, but I have a history with Dead Rising. My 360's always seemed to RRoD while I was playing Dead Rising!
I don't trust Microsoft enough to buy a Day "One". I will wait to see if there are any hardware failures and what other games are due out next year first. As it stands DR3 is the only game that I would want on X1.

Not worried about lack of stock but why would they suddenly remove the day release promise?
Just covering themselves till they get actual numbers I think.
Realistically they will have the consoles a week before release, they will package them up and they will wait at a couriers till the day before release (I am sure that is what happened with other hardware releases recently).
There is no way shops are receiving stock the night before as someone else suggested!

very.co.uk have because i ordered 27th August changed my fifa day one to a forza day one woohooo! They are shipping direct from manufacturer and doing 3 interest free monthly payments for £399 today given that i used a generic £30 voucher i found on HUKDs lol. Bargain of the century. Basically same price as ps4 with the best game and a free camera.
60fps, equivalent to medium settings on PC, sub-1080p resolution. That's all the information we know about the next-gen version in terms of performance so far. It's not nearly as far-fetched as you seem to believe.
In any case this discussion would be better in the BF4 thread.
That's what usually happens. We have then all ready to ship a day or two early but obviously can't deliver them until the day. We have a ton of extra security staff in too.
They'll be couriered, so they're far more likely to get there the next day anyway than say, first class mail.

I'm just happy ShopTo use DPD and not someone like Yodel. With DPD I'll know the hour it'll arrive. With Yodel I'll be lucky to know what week it'll arrive!

this! i also found out that a warehouse near by is now owned by DPD so if i happen to miss it i could surely pop down and tell them to hand over them goods!

Forgive me for not going through pages of this thread but does anyone have knowledge of the best place to preorder the xbox one for deposit and secured stock? Looking to preorder today.

ShopTo would be my suggestion, but not many places are guaranteeing for release any more. You'll need to be quick.

shopto only have bundles left, so you'll need to buy extra MS points etc..
Its not the cheapest, but its the only way to get guaranteed stock for release day at the moment. Most hard retail stores will have sold out of their small allocations by now.

There's probably a bundle worth it though, I switched to the Dead Rising 3 bundle last night.
