I made that point earlier in regard to both consoles.

Go and look at the launch titles for the PlayStation 3 and the xbox 360, I'm buying this (PlayStation 4) as a long term investment (in terms of gaming) and the 'lack' of launch titles really doesn't bother me, nor am I picking a console based on their launch line up.

Ok so I haven't preordered.....do any of you reckon there's a chance of getting a none preordered xbox one at midnight Thursday?

Before I ordered at Asda I popped into a local GAME store today to enquire but they were only taking 'phase 2' pre-orders and said all consoles at the midnight launch were for pre-order customers. No idea about other retailers?

Also already have £150 I bought the other day..
I have COD ghosts and Fifa, and Zoo tycoon already ordered.

What la hell do I buy with the £200 credit? :/ should I wait for more games?

People judging the systems on launch titles are bonkers,

As are people who compare PC and consoles. We all know that a £400 console can't compete with a £2000 pc.

Ah so asda might have some launch night then, went into game the other day and some 16 year old behind the till told me I wouldn't get one for Christmas and how mad I was for not preordering which is fair enough but I remember the launch night of the ps3 and there were a few to spare I guess times have changed.

I think supermarkets will be my best bet not sure on any local stockists of the xbox apart from game

It's digital only, so you'll only be able to buy it through the console.

ok guys lets get back on track with some questions i have regards the one as i pick mine up midnight but i just may need to get a couple of things beforehand lol

1. just how big is this kinnect as my lg tv is pretty low profile to the unit i might have to look at going above the tv on the wall is there any kind of pre drilled holes in it or maybe could i stick it with some double back tape until i can order a wall mount ?

2. i gave my lad my 360 5 months ago as his broke and he couldnt afford another and i didnt want him feeling left out whilst his bro was sitting in the corner of the room playing his lol anyway i let my live expire so am only a silver member at the moment will the xbox one come with a one month code do you think ?

3. due to it being advertised as an all singing dancing media hub for your room and the only box you will need will it now stream mkv content or still be stuck in the old days of divx/mp4 .

4. is it correct that no headsets from the 360 will work ? got 2 sets of turtle beaches here and if they are not going to work i may aswell flog them

2. Not sure on the code, I hops so as my gold has expired too. If not it'll be a visit to evil bay for an e-mailed code.
4. That is correct, but they are working on an adaptor for the controller, so hold onto the TB's for now.

Quick quote off my fb friend..

Menus are nice and smooth, pretty much does what they advertise. Haven't plugged in Kinect yet, will do a lot more functionality wise tomorrow. I downloaded the day one patch in about 20 mins, only game I bought physical was Forza 5, it took about 30 mins to update and start install. You can play game when it reaches 15% install which is nice. Grx are highres detailed and smooth. Waiting to play some different games and play around with Kinect Funtionality. Nothing on store is avialble so you cant even download fifa that comes with it
