**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

For all those people moaning about Ryse (or Knack)... a low scoring review does not necessarily mean a bad game. It's an opinion at the end of the day.

I've gotta say both games look fun, and the fact that Knack's review is low simply because some websites likened it to old classic platform games is ludicrous.

I'm still looking forward to going through Ryse, taking in the visuals and hacking and slashing my way through the game. If it's garbage, it'll go on eBay... simple as :)

Ryse, I reckon :) Picking it all up at a midnight launch. Part of me wants to stay up all night. The realist part of me knows that I'll be knackered as I'm out half the evening elsewhere anyway and I'm inherently lazy and love my sleep. :p

So, in reality I'll probably play an hour of Ryse then fall asleep. :D No work to do on Friday though so I have plenty of time to game. Bought pizza and snacks ready for a marathon gaming session. Plus Forza and BF4 will have arrived by then. :D

TBH from what I've seen of Knack it looked really good and I'm looking forward to playing it. Same with Ryse really, I wasn't expecting a good score but sometimes you just want a no brain game.. If I can drag myself off Forza tomorrow I'll try it :)

Mines turned into "Dispatching now" despite still saying it'll be delivered on the 23rd no the 22nd...

I've spoke to them three times now and if it's a Day One Edition, they've said their systems are a bit buggy in updating the website with the correct dates due to the number of orders... but it will be a launch delivery.

haha yep thats the muppets their deliverys are practically fraud. I've sworn never to order online from game ever again and let my local lads in store know and they were like ''oh yeah the online thats nothing to do with us and we know how awful they are itsreally quite funny how bad they are''

All it;'s telling you is that you should contact customer services if you want to change your address. It doesn't say what customer services will tell you when you call, and in this case, they are saying, it can't be changed.
 
Hmm, could I ring up my local game and pre order forza LE + that steelbook 12month xbox live likely? My just head there tomorrow morning as this is an utter **** take.

It's waaaaaaay safer. Game couriers have sneaky fingers. It doesnt help that they mark on the packet whats inside lol
 
This might sound silly, but if you are going to get all uptight about delivery and such for your release day console, why not just buy it from a bricks and mortar store?

I understand that yes they should 100% be delivered on release day, but we know this isn't always the case and things can go wrong.

I didn't buy my console from GAME lol. They are the only ones in UK I can find doing Forza LE + 12 Month Xbox Live with Steelbook + New Zelda Collector Edition, so really I'm forced to use them, I'd rather not go deal with the queues in store tomorrow either and be quizzed on why I don't want their reward card.
 
Hmm I was expecting my FM5 Steelbook LE from game to come today as I got a despatched mail on Tuesday, I thought it came royal mail ?
Anyhow, no delivery tomorrow and I'll get paypal to refund, I knew there is a reason I pay with paypal :)

Anyone know what the Game stores are charging for the FM5 Steelbook LE ?
 
Stupid question time, anyone still able to get one without a pre-order, jstu found out ill have the money ( job get made permanent)
