Heading out in the next few hours to get my pre order Xbox One Day One Edition with Fifa 14 download from GAME at the midnight launch, be interesting to see how many are queuing up, they won't have any for people without pre orders.

Want to get a game with it too, what does everyone recommend as the best launch game?

Would you mind sending me in trust how many people are roughly queuing please ? only cause this thread will be raided with posts later

I wonder why they've stated no upgrades to the HDD when it looks fairly easy to get at??

Granted not as easy as the PS3/PS4 as they're both damn near hotswappable(ish) but I mean that looks fairly bloody straight forward!

Its not user replaceable just like the HDD in your TIVO/Sky+HD etc. It was never designed to be changed by the user. Also dont know if its using custom firmware like the 360 did or where to get an OS image. I suspect the BD might be a pain to replace with a MS branded chip on its PCB...

Ermm why que so early when the launch isnt till midnight??

From what the guy at Game told me, said that be at the front of the shop by 11.30 pm....they open the doors at 12. So i wont be going till 11.15 as the missus will be driving me there and back, that will teach her to crash my car lol.

Setup Skype whilst I am waiting and that works very well. Amusingly you can't use Voice Commands in NZ but the UI still tells you to "Say 'Xbox'". A bit stupid they don't let you choose your language/accent since as a Brit it should be able to understand me anyway.

Interface is like 360 crossed with Windows 8, seems fine to me, nothing exciting about it but nothing to particularly dislike either.

Yeah I noticed that on ifixit. Have we had any confirmation if the PS4 has a similar controller that "has potential" to support wifi camp, NFC etc?

Seems odd that Microsoft wouldn't enable the wifi ac if the chip supports it.

I think I read that the ps4 only has 2.4Ghz somewhere, where XO has both 2.4 and 5

Bit depressing really that I've just sat down to play GTA V whilst waiting for tomorrow, and realised that this game is actually better than all the launch line up for both consoles!
