Depends on what new features they wanted to show, maybe it's behind closed doors because they are showing the bad build, but don't want it going public/live just in case something bad happens, because if it does they can always tell them not to report that as it's something that will be ironed out, but if the public were to see it, then i would really be a nail in the coffin as there is whole difference in explaining it to press at the time who understand to Joe Public who would just think "Damn this thing is launching soon, and it's broke, I don't want that."
 
IMO It's probably behind closed doors because even they have lost confidence in what they are doing & don't want to risk another backlash like the reveal.
 
Their excuse for not streaming is pretty lame.

No it was supposed to be 10AM all along, i think some people just got timezones mixed up due to GMT/BST

Urgh, looks awful. That's the worst use of Kinect IMO. Given the accuracy of the sensor, you'd have thought that games requiring physical accuracy would be better than those that require you to flail around like an idiot.
