**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

I do see what people are complaining about with FIFA 14's free download (mine with having to download the damn thing), but atleast I will get something included in the box that I want, whereas Kinect...

But I also don't get the hate. Most of the RPG's are some complete far-fetched ****, yet they still sell big.

- Pre-ordered a standard edition console at Amazon, along with Forza 5 :)

I can't see how anyone can complain. It's free, they pre-ordered not expecting a free game, and now they're getting one, whether or not they want it doesn't matter. IT'S FREE.

Have Microsoft done there conference or made the announcements yet?

Yes, they have given away a free digital copy of FIFA 14 for all pre-orders in Europe(to me the biggest announcement today). Also they clarified the full launch day line up (20 games) and courted some indie developers.

Some people are angry they are getting a free game. Can't please everyone.

I think that summaries the last 7 pages.

I read something before that has me left confused.

Do you have to have just pre-ordered an Xbox One, or do you have to pre-order a Day One edition to be able to get FIFA free?

Any pre-order before a certain date (which eludes me), while stocks last.

Hopefully it will incude me :p

After I pre-ordered (damn sure it wasn't there before), Amazon have decided that their stock after the 15th may not arrive by release!

Quite confident MS will beat that PS4 EU launch date of November 29th
I hope so, though my planned week off from work to play it may not happen now due to circumstances in work. MS have always maintained a November release, and I'll be amazed if it's not out in the UK before the PS4 is.

Severely doubt a large number of people who are getting a PS4 will suddenly jump ship to get an Xbox based on releasing a week or two earlier. Especially when the console is considerably more expensive.

The pre-order polls here and elsewhere have consistently had roughly the same percentages getting one, the other or both.
