Let's be honest, the basics of all FPS games don't change much. Run around, shoot people, hope you kill them more than they kill you

And that's what I like about em Nice way to switch off and unwind.

I'll be hopefully getting CoD and BF4. Doesn't seem much point pre-ordering though as I can't see either selling out, plus I've got no idea what format yet.

Pretty worrying some of the reports from gamescom about the performance of games on the XB1 vs PS4, apparently FIFA and other titles are running much better on the PS.

How long is GamesCom on for? Really need a release date so I can book some holiday! I can only assume they're still assessing their options now they know what Sony are doing, how many units by this date etc. etc. I'm hoping they'll match the Nov 15 NA date but worldwide launch.

Possibly related to the 20% performance drop on latest SDKs which CBOAT leaked?

No more likely its related to the extra power of the PS4 and that its using hUMA which the XB1 doesnt. If the issue with the latest SDK is true i would think MS would make sure that its not the SDK being used to show off the console.

I saw a video about Ghosts and he said the X1 version was running on an X1 emulator on a PC with the same specs as an X1. Apparently that was giving problems.
If it's the same for other games on show then that may be the reason.

Kind of worrying that both consoles have gone into production and yet they are using PC's and emulators at shows.

Not much faith in the hardware.
