**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

If you dislike it that much feel free to cancel your pre-order and head over to the PS4 thread. If you're going to stick with it, a change of tone might be a good idea ;)
 Why are you telling him to head over to PS4 thread, he didn't even mention PS4 in his post :p

Lets hope this one doesn't sound like a jet turbine, break 5 times within the space of one yr, and have decision making morons at the helm of its management.

The only thing annoying me about the Xbone now is no release date! I mean it's 2 months away from potential release and nothing from MS. If I don't book time off work soon the chances are I'll be away on release, the console will arrive and nobody is home etc etc.

I've already booked time off for the PS4 so at least I'm covered there but I would like to enjoy the Xbone release to..

MS have been pretty clear from the start regarding the November release date so to cover yourself book whole November off and on the safe side book half of December off as well:rolleyes:

So after a bit of research I found that Microsoft announced the 360 release date on the eve before TGS in 2005 on September 15th and released the console in the US on 22nd Nov and in the EU on 2nd Dec.

TGS this year is 19th-22nd Sept so if they were to do the same thing we can expect a release date announcement on the 18th Sept!

That's my theory anyway :)

Didn't I read that incentives were being given to those who bought CoD on 360 would only have to pay £10 for it if they bought it again on the XB1?

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere!

Yeah cos they are charging £60 for next gen games while amazon is charging £40 !

I'm actually pretty sure GAME are charging over the RRP for some games. Like X1 first party titles are meant to be £50 RRP but game are selling them at £55 at least
