The vast majority of PS4 fans, even the serious fans, are level headed enough to have rational discussions about the Xbox One, and admit the good things about the console, even if they have no intention of getting one. It's only a handful of true fanboys who, for whatever reason, seem intent on doing nothing but talk trash about MS and the Xbox One. It's sad really.
 
Annoyed I canceled my shopto pre oder of the day one edition as I've got the CoD prestige game exclusive one ordered but I have no interest in Ghosts now so hoping the CoD will be easy enough to sell on.
 
Had a call from my local Game store yesterday telling me that next weekend I can decide which bundle I want, had the console ordered since May when it was announced.

Got Ghosts, Forza & Dead Rising on pre order too, they will package up the bundle for me so on release day I can just go the store pay for it then take it home.

Just need to trade in the 360 and a few games so all sorted.

I was catching up on Giantbomb podcasts yesterday and it was interesting that all of them said if they weren't in the industry and felt obligated to get one none of them would get either at this time.

Some of them also had time on the new releases which of course they couldn't talk about yet. I thought that was an interesting thing to say especially as they have far more hands on experience of what's coming.

I still feel none of those titles would get more than a few days mention at any other time and would be games we rented and sent back later.

No I don't as firstly I don't dislike them, and never said I have, and secondly I don't want it to have a bad launch as it wouldn't be good for anyone.

What I want is people who don't like MS and the One to just leave their pathetic **** out of this thread so those of us who are interested can get on with discussing it in peace.

Is that really too much to ask/expect?

No real surprise, but it's nice that it's confirmed anyway. Hopefully it won't be too long before it arrives.
 
I wouldn't trash talk the XB1 if I felt it didn't deserve it. £75 more expensive and your seeing a 50% performance difference out the gate.

What annoys me most is that Microsoft seem to have bought the media because all the tech sites are saying, meh graphics don't matter anyway. Its quite annoying there is no major media outlet taking Microsoft to the cleaners about it. You get to find out about who the real journalists are.

Did you not see the slamming the XO has had in the tech site press over the last 6 months? Seriously? I suppose then they were the bastions of independent journalism but they've now been bought by Microsoft? You have a very lop sided view of the world old bean...

The Xbox One doesn't deserve your trash talking. You don't like it, you think it's overpriced and underpowered, and that's fine. You are within your rights to think that. I and a lot of other people don't agree with you.

With that in mind however, this is a thread predominantly for the people who actually do like the console to talk about it, and to have rational discussions about it, the good and the bad. You don't seem to be able to do that, so I'd suggest you refrain from posting in it. I'm getting sick of seeing people coming in here (and other threads) and hating on the console for no good reason. If people continue to do it, I'll be handing out suspensions. If they carry on further, I'll have their access to this section of the forum removed.

You've said your piece several times. It's now time to drop it.

50% is ludicrous.

Plus for me, its £25 more expensive, id have bought fifa anyway, £25 for kinnect is not bad at all.

Yay troll but I'll bite though I know I shouldn't.

You mean MS have 'bought the media' as the media isn't spouting a biased opinion that agrees with your personal views. The Xbone is only more expensive due to having kinnect included, if they released a version without it then based upon the price of the 360's kinnect the Xbone would be cheaper than the PS4. Whether this is value for money is a matter of personal opinion, which judging by your post it isn't.

The PS4 is 50% more powerful, oh please do tell me how it is. Anyone that tries to argue that the PS4 isn't more powerful is a trolling fanboi but equally quoting the magical 50% is equally being a trolling faboy. Regarding the magical figure of 50% I assume you are talking about that the PS4 has 18 CU's compared to the Xbone's 12 which even I can do the simple maths is 50% more. As you obviously know all about the consoles and their ultimate power can you explain though how the PS4 is still 50% ahead when you factor in that the Xbone has slightly faster clock speeds on both cpu and gpu. Nevermind the RAM situation which so far I haven't seen anyone agree which console has the best solution.

The simple answer is the PS4 is more powerful but we simply don't know how much more powerful or what real world difference it will make. We wont find out until maybe a year or two down the line when multiplat devs really start pushing both consoles.

What I'd like to know is if I have a FIFA 14 bundle with them, can I switch it to the Forza bundle in store midnight and get DR3 with it?
