**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

In 2013 retailers still don't know how much stock they're allocated from suppliers?

I just want to know when to expect the One, why is that so much to ask!

The same could be said about Call of Duty, yet both Xbox One and PS4 versions struggle from framerate issues during the campaign, problems that are not there during the 360 and PS3 games.

Could just be down to the developers getting to grips with the Dev kits then and possibly some are finding certain consoles harder to port their games to than others.

Someone sell it to me.

Why would I choose the XB1 over the PS4?

Controllers are comparable now, hardware is weaker on the XB1 too.

What separates them both?

I'm running out of time to make up my mind. lol

Think you need to look at games and what your mates are getting.

I loved my 360 and the Xbox Live experience (the service, not the abuse! :))

If it was a simple choice between the two then I would go Xbox One. However all my friends (and I mean all) are getting PS4.

I'm all about multiplayer games so being able to play with people i Know is a big pull.

Controller wise the PS4 is closer to the 360 now and in terms of build quality I think it feels better. As for fit in the hand I think the Xbox One does still come out better (for me at least) but it may even be a step backwards from the 360.

As for hardware - I'm not too bothered about that. I know Xbox One is having a hard time right now with the bashing about 720p etc (and maybe rightly so), but this will be a short term thing while developers get their head around the console.

Quite possibly, that would seem to be the logical answer. Hopefully we'll get a proper answer from the devs at some point.

I was a solid 360 man for first 4 years of the last cycle. Multi-plats were better, great online, had an absolute blast.

Just doesn't feel the same this time. When I go about rekindling my Live list, every bugger is getting a PS4 this time. What on earth is going on.

Liked the PS3 exclusives but that bloody DS3 controller gives me pains. I hate it. Knowing they have rectified that, i'm leaning PS4 atm.

polygon rated ghosts on xbox higher than ps4 http://www.polygon.com/2013/11/5/5052646/call-of-duty-ghosts-review seems 1080p aint all that after all :D

yes then look at the ign report saying it it very noticeable.....

While both are displayed at 1080p, the Xbox One version upscales the game from 720p resolution. In contrast, the PS4 version runs natively at 1080p, which makes character models, weapons, and environments look noticeably sharper and more detailed. The difference is especially apparent on larger-sized TVs, where pixel density weighs more heavily in picture quality.

I hope your mum is alright with the iPhone trade in :p

:D yeh shes cool with it seeing as earlier this month i bought her a new iphone 5s 32 gb in gold for lovely sum of £630 so she has no issue with me selling the iphone4 of hers.

Surprisingly when at the local Game shop, they said to some other guy who wanted to trade his iphone 4s in that they needed the wall charger/block but with me they let it go lol. Got £114 for it which was better than what other mobile recycling places were offering, around £100 minus any cosmetic damages and my mums had a few scratches and chip around the screen edges but they didnt bat an eyelid:p.

Now the wait for the new XB1, another 10 days to go :/
