Xbox series x - Recommend me a tv!

Samsung S95B has dropped from over 2k when launched earlier this year to around the 1k mark now. I'll be picking one up soon for sure as I need a bigger TV now for another room. Will move my current 55" LG OLED into the bedroom and put the Sammy S95B in the lounge for gaming.

Still rocking my Samsung Q80T 55 which was a great buy at the time and is an excellent performer. May well go OLED down the line. It would be great to have one of the newer TVs that has more than one 2.1 HDMI so that I don’t have to use the switcher for both consoles.

Think I'll be going mini led when I get my man cave back and set up, come from a 32" VA monitor it should be a big improvement and it'll be wall mounted directly opposite a window in a small room which is why I don't think oled will be a good idea

Curious as to why?

Brighter makes the colours pop more. Full screen brightness without the fade off. Whites are pure white and bright. Tbh blacks are just as good to me only very slight blooming if any. No risk of Burn in although I never had any with my OLED’s.

Cost I went 75” and the Qned was on offer at Costco for £1249 whereas the OLED was well over £2.5k at the time.
I had a C9 65” so newer models might be different.

Cheers. The C9 was a good TV, I have the 55" CX which is basically the same TV and I didn't think the picture could be any better lol. Though I was coming from a Sony 1080p LCD. I've had no burn in either.

Do you notice the slower pixel response/more blurring in fast moving games/images?

Not really maybe just a tiny bit at first. Now I have had it a while I don’t notice it.

I'm on an LG C2 55" which I got for a bit under 1000£ and can't recommend it enough for gaming.

C1 is excellent as well but if you can get a C2 for a reasonable price, then it's worth the extra. New, lighter constuction, better looking stand, more sensible cable management, slightly more vivid colours, gets a bit brighter and has a significantly snappier procesor that handles image better, on top of providing a faster software experience. It all adds up.

However, if you can't find a good deal on a C2, C1 is a damn excellent TV as well.

If you can snag a Sammy S95B for a good price, that's supposedly the best choice out there currently. It has some quirks, though.

I just bought a Panasonic 65" LZ2000 and will be getting it installed tomorrow. I did consider the Sony 65" A95K, and the LG G2, but I didn't like the backward tilting stands for either of those ( I don't wall mount ) and the Panny has the best IQ for UHD blu-ray playback and streaming, in my opinion. The downside for some, is that the LZ2000 only has 2 x HDMI 2.1 ports ( so does the Sony A95K ) but at the moment that's all I require. I'll have a look at the QD-OLED screens in another 2-3 years once the technology matures. In the meantime I look foward to playing God of War : Ragnarok at 1400p/120Hz tomorrow :)

Another shout here for LG OLED.

Im using a 55” C2 but that deal at Costco on a CX55 is well worth considering as it’s a cracking TV - I doubt you would be disappointed.

The difference between my previous Sony TV and the LG OLED is phenomenal. Lovely picture.

I've got the 48" C1 paired up with a series x, love the 120hz mode on it, although I find OLEDs a bit dark.
Turn off eco mode in the tv settings it limits the brightness a lot not got a lg oled myself but I did see it in a YouTube video somewhere.
