*** Xbox SSF4 League - Season 5 ***

Mpower 2-3 Artheas
(I was 2-0 up and needed 1 touch, his mashed ultra worked!!! *rage*)

Mpower 3-0 Hyv
(Hakan and Dan made an appearance)

Mpower 3-2 Conqueror Kenny
(No Balrog:eek:, although for the last game I tactically changed to Guile when he beat me with Adon and I just about won!)

GGs all.

Man I've been meaning to get MvC3, but just never got round to it, what's the learning curve like? because I failed hard at MvC2, probably because my team wasn't Mag/Storm/Sent lol He actually played well, very good footsie game

I have been thinking about what to do in the case of someone vanishing with only half their games played, or if people fall behind the game schedule etc, so added to the OP:

Important:
- If someone falls behind the schedule (6 sets per week minimum) penalty points will be applied.
- If someone plays a few sets then simply disappears, they will be banned from future leagues however their played sets will still stand.
- When the league is officially over, the top 8 as it stands at that point in time will progress through, therefore it is advised you play your games at the earliest available opportunity. If you delay your games, your opponent may not be around to play later.

The results table will hopefully be updated every evening. Please can everyone keep an eye on their own scores and if you notice an error, let me know. :)

Don't bother, your SF game will drop like hell lol, plus AE should be out soon and you should pick up the new Gouken / Evil Akuma. :)

I think its steeper than Sf4. But if you watch a few streams or read a guide (eg http://wiki.shoryuken.com/Marvel_vs_Capcom_3) then that's enough to get started. Otherwise it'll be tough going not knowing how or when to DHC/x-factor, etc, effectively. But if you played mvc2 and knew the fundamentals, i expect you'll be fine in mvc3.

Lazyboy1402 (GO) 3-2 Conqueror Kenny (GU/AD/BA)

probably the closest and most undeserved victory I'm gunna get

As for MvC3, I've been watching most of the streams/guides etc. and it looks pretty good, but until i can actually get in the lab with a team, i won't know

winning with hakan is physically impossible. he is extremely slow and has too little tools. i think i deserve more than a drink if i actually win a game

mvc3 is a much more interesting game than this. the learning curve is a bit steeper( still easy, unless you are playing a team of bottom tier characters), but still much easier than mvc2
