sometimes when turned on from cold i get like pink and blue artifacts on

screen while anything is running ,turn the machine off and start again all is well

does this mean the machine is on its way out and the next step is red lights of death????

need to know as its a launch day machine and i will take it back to asda and demand a new machine before the year is out :)

changed my launch day machine today at asda as only about 3 or 4 weeks

until the warranty runs out

didnt even look in the box to see what i had left out :D

could have put two bricks in the box for all they cared

and the big bonus got another years warranty :)

I presume they issued you with another receipt dated from the date of replacement? Otherwise, you'r warranty for your replacement will still run out when your original one runs out.

I got mine from Asda's on the 10/12/2005 and it's been fine. Only frozen a few times but I think that's been game related. Getting more nervous as the expiration of my warranty approaches!

try it on what you got to lose ???

lay it on about it does it every now and then and you have read on the net the next stage is total failure and red lights of death (which it is )
