Correct me if I'm wrong, weren't Golden Axe and Streets of Rage games for the Megadrive.

They were originally from the arcades though for a guess?

Edit - GA was in the arcades first, not sure if SOR was an arcade game or not.

Speedball

Double Dragon

I remember these, I had speedball 2 on my bbc acorn 3000 machine (the game was basically a port from the amiga i think).

Anyone ever play Flashback? Think it was on the atari (i had it ported on the acorn).

If anyone here hasnt played either Another World or Flashback, they should have their posting rights removed for this forum :p

Golden Axe was Def arcade first. I think Streets Of Rage was MegaDrive only. Also anyone that liked Golden Axe may also like an old Arcade and Megadrive game called Alien Storm. It was like Golden Axe but set in the future and you battled Aliens. It even had character from Golden Axe in it.

Mega Collection 3?

I have 1, 2, and 3, great collections although number 2 is probably the best game package ever released.

Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Shinobi. Now, classic! :D

i believe theres a sequal coming out on the 360, read it in this months games tm.

those screens look pre-rendered or an intro to me, no way you can say how the game will work out, its got potential, but i'd rather see sega do another streets of rage game and make the first 3 available in a triple pack on live.
