xbox360 Natal video showing it in action.

I don't think of it as TFC, it has changed too much but it's still probably the best multiplayer game going at the moment.

The humour alone puts it leaps ahead of other games, far more team play than a lot of other games too, plus the most popular game types are objective based, not boring death match where team work is rarely seen.

Milo sounds awesome on paper, but I would feel kinda awkward talking to him/her. I dunno, it interests me, but as skippi said, its going to be scripted for it to actually work.

I felt like an idiot talking into my DS, not sure what I'd feel like talking to my tv. I could see something like Milo working better on the Wii to be honest.

looks like it is aimed at the market that you don't represent, so why worry.

i have a wife, 2 daughters and and a grand daughter who don't have a problem talking into a DS or waving/dancing around with a Wii.

perhaps M$ are after the market that looks for fun when game playing and Natal looks like it will certainly be that. me..... i look forward to the fun that Natal will bring for my family and the new gaming experiences it will offer to me.

a win win.

Sorry for being specific but that's not what you originally implied.
I didn't imply anything, I used two generalizations (that I couldn't see why anyone would want to use it, and that every video is people jumping around like an idiot) to enforce my point.

Would have thought it obvious that neither of these were to be taken in a literal sense.

Milo is quite scary if it worked as first shown, the voice recognition is based on not what you say but how you say it, the best part of the milo demo was the swimming bit. Looking at the PM talk about fable 3 it seems that Natal will be a very important part of the game. Still have my doubts about how well it will work in say a small flat with poor lighting, but i like the idea behind it.

I'm not really sure lighting will matter too much. That digital foundry thing on Eurogamer said it uses an infared camera to determine depth and what not so it shouldn't really matter what is in the background unless there is a fire in the other room :p

I'm like a few on here, the concept is great but personally I still want to be playing with a controller for the most part.

From what i've read all of the hands on experiences followed the same pre-set sequence of events. Milo wasn't reacting to how or what people were saying, just that they'd replied which would then enact the next event.

After seeing the RE5 demo with the PS3 ***** and a very steady cursor, I was wondering can you point your figure at the screen with Project Natal to control the cursor in the same way? I haven't seen anyone do this yet - only wave their arms about or hold an invisible steering wheel.
