because its fixed hardware they can drive down the costs much faster.

I may own a 360, but I will be buying a PS3. (probablly a wii to) but that statement is soooo wrong I dont know where to start.

Worse online system, poor games for launch (I agree the 360's wasnt great at launch though) the same kind of power of the 360, games not being optimized right (COD3).

ALL consoles have something wrong with them, but the PS3 isnt better than the 360, IMHO I dont think the 360 is better than the PS3, I think they will be about equal.

I for one am glad that the good old KBM combination hasn't really come into play yet. For me, it's just another step towards blurring the line between consoles & PC's (together with internet browsing, etc).

I like the fact that my console's sat in the living room & I can chuck it on whenever I fancy a bit of comfy gaming, and that my PC's upstairs for more serious work (and gaming!!).

Must be old fashioned!!

why not stick to the pc for fps games and get a 360 for racing, fighting, platform, puzzle games etc. theres far more choice if you have both

I used to try and remain unbiased between the consoles but my brothers now have a 360 in the room approximately 10 metres away and it absolutely sucks. It makes me laugh that most of the time I go in there they are playing PES6 on their old PS2. They said the 360 is only better than the PS2 because of the graphics, but we all agreed that neither console had squat on a PC.

That is their opinion and they are entitled to it, however, many people won't agree.
Either way, you still haven't shown us all these reviews that you have read that say the PS3 spanks the 360...
