He has been a member of the board for years and have no reason to doubt him to be honest. He has been spot on in the past when talking about Live stuff although it does seem strange move from Microsoft if he is right.
 
Any news on the Video Marketplace for Europe in the NXE? Since the US is getting Netflix, surely we should be getting something of equal quality like Blockbuster or something?
 
Do Blockbuster do on demand content?

As far as I am aware Netflix are the biggest and best in the US. We don't have a decent enough service here.

Dont think it does. Just saying as an example really. We really should have something like Netflix. We have tons of DVD rental companies, but none as big as Netflix. Just wondering what MS are thinking as a replacement for us in Europe.
 
Well I received an Email during the night saying I was accepted into the preview program. Only a few days early but seeing as I have been quite excited about the update I'm happy. Available from 10pm on the 14th.

Me too, thought it was a scam email at first until I confirmed it on the actual Connect site :p
 
Just received the mail myself, now I can't remember which console ID I entered and I've got rid of one of my 360's since then :p I'm sure I've got rid of the one that I originally entered on the site so I guess I won't bother for now :p
 
Got one myself also :) like the rest of you i thought I hadn't been picked when i didn't get an email that night they supposedly sent them all out.

Thats pretty cool actually considering I dont actually have a Live sub at the min (all the people with Gold were getting first dibs apparantly)
 
Just been reading that they have added about 10000 people to it on this wave so if you never got in then you are extremely unlucky by all accounts. I need to wait till 11 o'clock my time to get it.

Hmmm, do I try and tempt my mates back from the pub for a game of Rock Band and then, to my surpise get an update :p or will I be sad and not go out so I can wait for it :o

The Xbox 360 Fall Flash update will be available to you by 2pm PST on November 14th (5pm EST on November 14th, 10pm GMT on November 14th).

I'm the same, I entered the ID for my old console. Can't be bothered anyway. I can wait.
