Backwards compatibility should be easy with xboxthe1stone as it was a modified pentium 3

Excuse me? I said nothing against his usage of Xbone did I? It's just not a name I use myself. If I'm going to shorten the name, I prefer XB1 myself.

Super fake though, why would it have the 'Full HD 1080' logo? Only ever seen that on TV packaging.

Yeah and I think Microsoft will make a better job of it. I have no faith in this Gaikai lark whatsoever for some reason.

It'll be interesting to see how far back they provide Backwards Compatibility, guessing it'll just be 360 games though (I'll reserve judgement on the cloud services until, or if they both get it). Wonder if anything will come of Sony saying games will be Backwards Compatible from the PSone upwards.

If it's different architecture then it would have to be done using emulation. Emulation, as good as it is, is massively inefficient. It's like me giving you a book in Japanese, and a Japanese dictionary. Technically, you could read it but it would hugely slower than if you already knew the language and completely incomparable (performance wise) to you reading something in English.
