Xcom Complete Package on Steam for £2.99!

ok, kwl £2.99 is a great price, but i have never brought direct from steam before, is it safe/secure???
i have xcom-apoc already just that it dosn't work on XP, and i guess £2.99 would be a fair price to fix this :D

I have about 60 games from steam now without problems, basically the only way I buy my games these days. :)

how long left on that download, game can't be very big being so old :)
would be nice if the made a modern version of xcom :)

Apocalypse is around 500Mb, it opens up in dosbox and works for me (despite being in a very low resolution. At first it said mode not supported on my monitor but worked a few seconds later.

Downloading now :D @ 1.7 MB/s
i got the complete pack (only because it was same price) but can i keep others 'not installed' as long as i like, and they wont expire or anything?

Signing upto steam, just for this lol.

went for this, as I remember playing the X-com UFO Enemy Unknown (or UFO: defense) on my friends Amiga CD32 back a few years ago and loved the game. Only other X-Xom game I played was terror from the deep. £2.99 was a bargain I thought for these great games.

Can someone please let me know how Terror from the Deep runs on windows XP? I remember playing a version which worked fine except it ran FAR to quickly - to the point where on a mission you could not see the aliens shots as they went too fast and also when you tried to scroll the screen it instantly went to the other side of the map!
