Xenoblade Chronicles

Will be picking this up on release as I need a new RPG to play....for a change it will be on my Wii and not other consoles.
 
I'm quite impressed by that, for a Wii title. Will probably pick it up when it's a bit cheaper, the backlog of games I've not played is getting larger and larger :).
 
I have not liked JRPG's since those i played on the Super Nintendo and did not really know any better.

I don't know why but this reminds me of the the Secret if Mana: Three party group, very green and natural, up beat characters. I am sure that there are better comparisons but I thought I would share.

I think I will end up picking this up on Friday even though Ihave to many games to complete and an equal amount on pre-order before Christmas :D

Only problem with this is that these types of games generally don't come down in price. Stores only seem to order a limited number and once they are gone, thats it and you then have to play ridiculous prices for second hand versions.

Anyway, pre-ordered for £30. :D
 
I have the CE ordered since I don't have a classic controller pro, it's at the picking and packing stage at Game, so should have dispatched today, or will tomorrow. Should have it before release date anyhow.

This. plus the Wii is coming to the end of it's life, with only this and Zelda being the big ones before we see the final gasps imo.

Will mean that in a years time or less this will be an expensive purchase from auction sites imo.

Mmmm, I'm going to grab it on payday, as I remember how hard I had to look for Tales of Vesperia, which is one of my favourite games this gen.

Hopefully it won't sell out of UK retailers THAT quickly!

I think Last story will be the swan song for core games on the wii, it getting released next year.


I like JRPG's but cant stand turn based combat, so I've seriously been thinking about picking this up, finished the last of my uni work this week, it could be a sign :eek:
 
This came this morning, really enjoying it so far, the red Classic Controller Pro is really nice, can't imagine playing this with the Wiimote+Nunchuck combo.
 
just fired up to check if someone had received this today. Gonna get mine tomorrow.

Looking forward to this, only I don't know when I am gonna get around to playing it :(

Apparently there's already a stock shortage also, not sure how bad it is. From another forum.
