Xerox XAP-172i and other 17" tft's

Hi all,

Just wanted some info regarding 17" monitors. I recently got a 19" Samsung monitor which I have been very happy with, I am now looking to get a new 17" monitor for my second system.

I have come across the Xerox model which looks great aesthetically but I have no idea of its performance. Could anyone who has used the monitor give me some feedback on it?

Also could anyone give me their opinions on how the monitor compares to similar Samsung models or other alternatives?

I have been looking at this TFT too as a 17" is perfect for my environment. I have also been looking at the Samsung 730bf. Here is a link to someone else on here who has one and said he will review it for everyone:

which Samsung 19" model did you get recently? The Xerox XAP-172i uses a TN Film panel and so if you got a Samsung TN Film model, you are likely to notice similar performance characteristics from the Xerox. It's certainly nice looking, hopefully the guy linked in the thread above can offer some more advice on its performance
