XFI Prelude Mic Fixed?

Hey Guys, i used to have a XFI Prelude with my old rig which is now sold im looking for a new card for my new rig i did notice the difference in game

I was Wondering if they fixed the weird Mic Issues?

sometimes in game it work sometimes you sound like darfvader had to rechange from Music to Gaming mode

do this still happen?

Im not sure if im honest because after having the same issue i decided to go for a USB mic, which in all fairness im glad i did as it works great.

I notice in some of the latest drivers they mention mic fix's so it could well have been resolved:

VOIP in game suddenly stop working
MIC volume Issue

* Updated in Game mode.
* Note: The MIC sound from analog port comes out with distortion/noise.

No they still haven't fixed it, well at least for me. I've had the card since launch and it's never worked properly and Auzen keep saying they will fix it.

If i use it over msn, games or anything that's VOIP, my mic sounds distorted and cuts out after a few minutes, requiring me to restart my computer in order to get it working again.

Auzen said they fixed it, but a lot of users are still having problems. Also the "what u hear" feature has the same symptoms.
