i have a HIS 7850 2GB on an MSI Z77A-GD65 motherboard is it possible to use a 1GB 7850 as a second card? thanks.

It is possible but i wouldn't recommend it. Pay the extra £10-£20 and get a 2gb card.

yeah considering frame buffer would be mirrored I'm guessing you would be running effectively 1 gb ram between the two cards.

a single 7850 has the gpu power to use more than the 1gb vram so yea better get a 2gb card.

Second hand ones can be had for around £100
