I've been having a problem with my card for sometime now, where it'll randomly crash during a game. Usually games involving a lot of 3d processing. Apparently on the ATI's forum there's some talk of it being a clock speed issue but no one's been able to help

Anyone got any ideas?

I have limited options if i RMA the card, as the 4870 is known to have the same issue and most other cards are too long for my case
 
-What are your full specs?
-What current catalyst version are you using?
-Do you run anything in the background while playing games?
-Have you checked temperatures or cleaned the cooler of dust recently?
