Just got my new build up and running and when idling or at desktop etc, the fan keeps stop/starting from 0-50ish%. Im fairly sure this is a software glitch the fan itself runs fine and when I set it manually in CCC its fine. I have a feeling it may have started when i first enabled overdrive (have since disabled it tho) but not entirely sure now as have been taking a lot in with gettin the rig up to spec.

If anyone has had or knows about this issue and can shine some light on it that would be great.
 
You could try heading over to Techpowerup, learning how to use RBE (ati gpu bios editor), and fix the firmware. Sounds like the start up bug (I could be wrong though).

Or it could be how the fan tables is setup. Which you can also view in that tool.
