Looking to upgrade from my BFG 7800GTXOC. Are XFX a reputable brand? I've used BFG for a while now as they are a good, reliable company with a great warranty.

Why move away from BFG then? from what i have gathered they are ten times better than XFX in terms of warranty and customer support.

as what stude says, they make some very nice cards, and most of the best clocking cards i have had have all been XFX, but they also have the greatest failure rate of all gfx card makers, if you do opt for an XFX card, just hope it doesn't break, as it will take a good month plus to get it sorted (3 months was my 'best')

Well I've got a XFX 8800GTS, can't fault it at all. However my 3 year warranty is held with AXIZ, a big SA supplier, so I won't have to worry if it fails, just take it to them, they swop it out. :)

Generally speaking their hardware will be no better/worse than any other manufacturers. However their after sales support and RMA procedure sucks wang now. It was good back in the 6800Ultra days, they did an excellent RMA for me when very few people had them... but now all reports are that they have stiffed the UK/Euro (US peeps get double life time warranty or something).
