XFX GTX260 - Do they quality control?...

Just a quick comment really regarding XFX's quality control.

I am putting together a system for a friend and bought a XFX GTX260. Installed everything and booted up....

HOLY **** WHAT IS THAT GRINDING NOISE??

Switch off quickly, check everything and what do I find...

The fan on the GTX is grinding against the shroud.

So, I decided to strip it down and install some little spacers to raise the shroud away a little. It was either that or send it back and wait for a replacement. (didn't get it at OcUK btw)

It's now working perfectly, but who on earth does their QC? That should've been picked up surely?

Yeah, I think I should drop them an email. Likely get not much of a response, but can't hurt to try eh?
