Has anyone had any experience with XFX RMA's?

My 390 is away being repaired, how long should I expect to wait?

And what should I expect to happen if it can't be repaired, what are the chances of a 480/580 replacement since there's no stock anywhere?
 
I hope their customer service has improved over the last couple of years or else you will be in for a hard time. AMD cards are pretty thin on the ground everywhere at the moment due to mining but they may have a stock of refurbs if your's can't be fixed. I gues the wait could be up to 28 days.
 
Yeah that's what came up when I tried searching for old posts, apparently the service did improve but then more recent posts say they're bad again.

I guessed it would be around a month as it's had to go back to XFX, just wondered what the likely outcome would be if it can't be repaired due it being an older card and no stock of newer ones either.

If you bought the card from OCUK they would have handled the warranty for you, dealing with XFX direct I've only ever heard bad things and you could be waiting for a month for a replacement.
 
I'm pretty sure that OCUK have a special warranty deal with XFX, if I remember correctly I believe it's meant to be something like a 3 day turnaround/exchange. Although I could be wrong. Its worth a search/ask
 
OCUK recieved the card on 01/06 and on 06/06 it was sent back to XFX.

The email says they've sent it for repair or replacement, if they cannot return it within 28 days I'll get a refund.
