XFX

I am sure a lot of them have been out of stock or pre order for a while now so maybe OcUK are just sick of waiting

I don't think OcUK stock XFX anymore as they have been getting a bad rep.

Hi there

Its all in discussion at the moment. XFX support has dropped in our eyes to a state where it upsets our customers and upset customers is not good for us.

So until XFX sort things out we won't be taking onboard any new stock.

Though its not really an issue as we have BFG, EVGA, Gainward and Leadtek who all offer just as good competing products but their support is superior.

XFX may return and may not, its an unknown at the moment.

didnt they close all the forums to stop customers complaining about faulty 7900 cores failing or something  seem to remember their customer support quite slow when i had problems with my 6800GT too :(

eVGA has the best all-round support of any of the companies IMO.After the problems my friend had getting his 2x 7800GTX RMA'd by XFX I would never buy a card from them again.

Good job Overclockers dont stock them anymore I say! I have an XFX 7800GT and its PANTS! I have to underclock it to 380 on the core and 450 on the memory to be able to run games without crashing my PC.

Well then you're just unlucky...

I'm happy with XFX, but I haven't had to deal with RMA. Plus the shop is taking care of that, so not really a problem :D . My xfx 7800gtx 512mb screams quality all through :D

I sent it back to Overclockers ages ago when I first started noticing problems with it crashing but it was sent back to me. They didn't say why they sent it back or anything but I assume its because they couldn't find anything wrong.

Ever since they sent it back I have had to underclock it more and more to stop it from crashing. Im going to be buying a X1900XT soon.

The whole situation with my card has really put me off buying an Nvidia card again.

its not nvidia thats the problem, its some of there card manufacturers, XFX being a prime example, with lousy support...although closing there forums proberbly has absolutely nothing to do with there reputation at the moment. i would get sick and tired of people asking me the same stuff over and over if i didn't know why it was happening... ;)

XFX made a play for market share with competative pricing at the expence of quality... they ran out of customer faith, people gave up, they let us down and the 6600GT cruddy heatsink followed by 7800GS kicked them hard
