XHTML - One Link to Open 2 Pages??

i need some XHTML code if there is any that will open 2 pages (in different iframes) on the click of ONE hyperlink/button..

this is doing my head in... why arent things simple?

i have a tab type navigation along the top... and i want to iframes beneath,

one frame for sub navigation and another for content..

is this possible??
