Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro for sale from tomorrow I believe (that's what I read today). I read the regular version is ~£440, and I'm hoping the Note version comes down in price a bit accordingly.

In the market for a new phone, mostly for a better camera, my current one is a 2017 Moto G5 that's feeling it's age.

From memory, I think it's released today in some markets only and it's (again from memory) later this month for the UK.

    Prefer Mi 9 design.

Curved screen would kill the Mi 10 for If I was in the market for one, dont know why they've gone for it.

Any word if these are waterproof? I lose my earpiece on my S8+ if it gets damp enough these days.

A lot of these phones are actually waterproof, they just don't pay for certification. Might be worth keeping an eye out on YouTube for teardown videos, can get a good idea from them.

The Pro version is splash proof. 2Pi certified. Happy with that.
I think I know what I'm getting next.

at 200 quid I like chinese phones. use them a few years, break them, bust them scratch them dont bother putting cases on them and chuck them away after you're done with them. at 500 and 600 quid, not so worthwhile anymore tbh.

That's the beauty of them though. For £200 you get maybe £300 to £400 worth of phone. For £500 you get maybe £800 to £1200 worth of phone perhaps? Still very worth it, just depends on your needs and budget.

Might have to grab one of these to check out the camera against the Pixel 4 :) Looks like they're not available yet still?
