Hi all,

Does anyone know which Xiaomi phones have band 20? What's your personal experience of them?

I know the redmi note 3 special edition aka kate does but I have the kenzo varient. I couldn't stand miui and its been a bit of hassle sorting it but I am now happy with linageOS on it.

The 3S is also available with band 20.

I've got the RN3 SE. Build is as good as my Xperia Z2. Miui 8 is better than I expected, but it's memory management is poor. I don't know if Cyanogenmod/Linage can solve this.

It's a lot of phone for the money, but bear in mind coming from China, any warranty is virtually non existant.

Many thanks. I really like the Mi Max but no band 20 it seems. Very annoying! I'll see if I can get a good deal on Three for sim only.....

My Mi Max works great on 4g with 3 when I get a signal lol, 3g fly's anyway.

4g here is about 55mbps - i'd miss it too much!!

I like it a lot mate, only problem is it's a little to big for work so I use my note 3 pro for that, I am running the beta version of nougat and it is very good.

I have a Redmi Note 4 and no band 20 either, bit frustrating.

I think EE is the best for the phones without as they haven't turned on their 800Mhz stuff yet and use 1800+2600 almost exclusively

I had a Note 4 (mediatek) good phone but the processor was so inefficient it would drain battery doing nothing.
Sold that, got a Mi Max(snapdraggon), love it, huge screen and I quite like Miui.

This thing is BIG... and I love it.
After having it for a day, my Smart Ultra 6 feels too small!
Build quality is surprisingly good. The battery life is astounding. Fingerprint reader is an essential.

I don't like the lack of app drawer, but Nova Launcher sorted that out.
