xmas presents - anyone else totally stuck what to get

Im getting the wife a vibrator and if that dont shut her up for 10 mins bugger all will :)

And merry christmas all from me.

Booked a surprise trip to Disneyland Paris for my girlfriend for her present (we're going tomorrow).

Haven't got a clue what to get my old dear, my Dad will probably get nothing - he always says he doesn't know what he wants, and the stuff I got him last Christmas/his birthday/fathers day have just been sat in the front room untouched so **** it, i'm not wasting any more money on him.

vouchers are a horrible present, I would hate to give them and hate to recieve them. Talk about NO thought going into a present.

Look at what most people give others as presents, tends to be something a voucher from HMV could buy, that way they can spend it on what they want, a voucher is as good as cash apart from the fact your limited to media.

I've currently got about 3 of 8 presents sorted.

2 of the remaining presents are going to be a real pain to get as I have zero clue, but the others shouldn't be too hard (i've got a few ideas, probably a game for one nephew, and a peripheral for the other).

I go everything from the place that is a big rainforest ...a mixture of Dvds ,Cd,s and books ....
Have to say I would be a bit miserable being given vouchers as well ,think I would rather have something I didnt want but was a suprise than that :)

Vouchers can be ace, say you need a new coat, you can have your vouchers and then go and buy yourself one. I wouldnt normally trust someone else to go and buy me a new coat.
Its the same as when I had my birthday recently, I asked everyone for money, and then I was able to go and buy myself a new camera.

Think I'll just be buying vouchers this year as I usually just buy CDs/DVDs anyway so might as well just let people buy what they want instead of me guessing.

Seriously, you have 24days left to do shopping. Forget about it until the 23rd December, thats when i do mine (and sometimes even on the 24th!)

Legend.

On a more serious note, im also the same.I'm thinking of giving my sister money towards a laptop which she will get for her birthday which is soon after christmas as she really doesnt know what she wants me to get. As for my brother and mother...who knows...

My dad should be pretty easy to cater for though as he doesnt like to be bothered with as far as christmas goes but ive thought of just the thing for him

Vouchers are total badness, don't do it.

Gig tickets is a good idea.

Oh and never ever get celeb autobiographies.

I hate vouchers because they feel like a huge waste of money. For example, I got Fopp vouchers last Christmas, and everything I wanted was literally half the price online but I had to use up the vouchers, so I ended up wasting £10.

im getting my missus a new phone with 18month contract. The phone is free and ive put the contact in her name with her bank details. She will be well chuffed.

Ah yes, but if you do it now, online, get it all delivered to home, get it wrapped, you can spend the whole of the 22nd, 23rd and 24th in the pub with no worries at all! :p

Just posted in the wrong thread so will repeat here - electric fly swatter £10ish. Great present and cheap. Can scare wife with it too.

I just went and spent a small fortune on Creed. Everyone is getting Creed. At least they'll smell nice. My engire christmas shopping in one trip, excellent.
