Hi all im having an issue with my RAM on a MSI b450 pro carbon and Ryzen 2600. For 8 months the ram has worked without issues with XMP on allowing 2933 Mhz, however recently ive been having issues with my Vega 56 causing black screens/driver crashes, a couple of days ago this caused a BSOD with the thread exception not handled error.
Ever since then the computer will not post with XMP on, it tries to boot up about 5 times then just boots with the RAM at 2400 Mhz. This is a massive performance loss with ryzen. I have tried XMP profile 1 which is 2800mhz and profile 2 which is 2933.
What could have happened that a BSOD would cause this, and what are some steps I should take to try and resolve it?
