just installed windows 7 and run the wei getting 5.9 for ram? i expected it to be higher than this?

specs:

phenom ii x4 955 be
gigabyte ga-880gm-ud2h
xms3 1600mhz 2x2GB

its giving me a rating of 5.9 and when the system boots its states its running at 1330mhz? is this normal? and another thing in windows it says only 3.50gb is usable?

hope you can help :)

Integrated GPU. They usually take some of the system RAM. If you're using it then keep it on. If you have a discrete GPU then it's fine to disable it in BIOS.

Well the way the WEI works, I find it really bad to rate a system. Honestly it poorly benchmarks the system and seems to give inaccurate results. The best way is to use other benchmark software and see what you get.

As for RAM, I notice the more RAM I dedicate to an IGP, meaning less usable RAM, the lower the WEI rating goes.

WEI is rubbish, so don't take it's scores too literally.

Have a look at CPUz and check it's running at the right speed.

ok im now getting 800mhz in cpu-z and 1600mhz as stated on boot up but still getting 5.9 wei? tbh should i really worry about this or just ignore it? am i loosing performance?

I wouldn't worry. WEI reckons 5.9 for my SSD as well, but it's obvious from using it that it's way faster than my HDD. WEI is rubbish.
