I just got a Xonar DG a couple days ago and its worked perfectly, pretty impressed with it. Today when i plugged in my heaphones (HSA1 that i bought at the same time) theres a high pitched buzzing coming through. This only happens on the headphone output. When its on 2 speaker output there is no buzzing.

I have it plugged directly into the soundcard, so thought i'd try it through the front panel and get the same buzzing on FP Headphone and FP 2 Speakers outputs.

Anyone got any idea what this might be? It can't be the headphones cause on 2 speaker output its fine, i was thinking maybe the problem is with the heaphone amp on the soundcard as when switched to use that the buzzing starts.

Thanks guys.

Nah i tried that, it has a <32 Ohms option between 32 and 64 Ohms option (which i use for my 32 Ohm headset) and a >64 Ohms options which i don't use. I tried setting it back to <32 Ohms, but made no differance. And it was working on the 32-64 Ohm setting perfectly when i first got the card.

I've tried clearing drivers using driver sweeper, reseating the card and reinstalling the latest Asus drivers. I've done the same with the unofficial Unified drivers that some seem to think are better.

It can't the that the wires are near something causing interferance because i get the same trouble when plugged into the front sockets too, miles away from any other wires round the back.

I feel like i've tried everything and im stuck...

Yeah thats looking like the only option.

I'm going to put the sound card into another PC tonight and if the problem persists then i'll RMA.
