XP 32Bit and RAM

So summarising ...

For Windows XP 32bit (and ignorring future OS upgrades) there is very little difference between running with 2GB and 4GB?

It might appear that you have an extra 1Gb but nothing can use it and it may cause device instability?

Can anyone make heads or tails of this for me please? Not really sure what I should be looking for.



I also read that it could be due to my graphics bios like someone said earlier, does anyone know where I can get an updated BIOS for my card?
