xp 64bit

Running Norton 360 here on Vista Ultimate 64Bit and have no issues what so ever.

People need to get it out of their head Norton slows your PC down, it doesn’t and it’s much better than other virus apps out there, it has a load of features others don’t which in my eyes makes it excellent value for money.

Check how much memory and CPU is being used up, oh yes it does slows your PC down.

What aspects of the Norton suite is being used there..? I understand it covers an AV, Firewall, email checking etc etc etc.. So from your screengrab is that the entire suite of security features running or just say the AV and Firewall..?

i may have to sell Norton for work, but doesn't mean it's any good, get rid of it. want to go down paid route then i have Kaspersky & i think it's fine or eset/Nod32

Yep just 360 not the new version

360v2 is a free upgrade if you're using 360 and still subscribing to the service.

I've stopped using it as it didn't pick up on a file (I won't go into it!) that was actually loaded with malware. Fortunately it didn't affect Vista but did target XP - big style!

So, I don't trust it now.

I was even loyal and bought antibot too.

I believe that is every aspect of 360 running, they could well be idle but it shows how much the foot print is when using your computer normal. I could do some tests with various scanning going on?

If you are sure that meagre amount of memory etc represents the entire Norton 360 suite then I'm amazed. I take it that provides real time AV protection, Firewall and email scanning...?

Comodo itself takes up more than that, never mind the Antvir AV that I also have running..!

The firewall of Comodo does seem to be well rated, well from the below review anyway, Norton doesn't do very good...

Yes, it has a load of stuff going on! :D Email scanning, web phishing active, real-time protection, malware protection, intrusion protection, firewall etc probably a few more that I have forgot but it is very impressive.
