Hi guys,

My Cousin is using a stripped down version of windows XP, and it doesnt have a copy of the driver he needs to connect to LANs, what driver would he need in order to be able to connect to my Network... A bit vague I know lol, but how would he go about getting the driver and installing it? would it just be possible to just copy the driver from my PC? he doesnt have his XP disk to hand so he isnt able to do it from that...

Cheers

quite... :p

you need drivers for whatever network card is being used. should be easy enough to get hold of drivers for that if you know what model it is. most are built into the motherboard these days so that should make it easier to get hold of... :)

 ah well i have no idea then.... :p

this stripping out windows thing is a bit daft if you ask me. most people have huuuuge hard drives and at least 1gb of ram. what's the point in removing basic windows functionality like that to save on a little resource usage? :D
