I've been having a problem ever since i first built this pc (about 15 months ago now) where in explorer will crash/hang causing me to have to stop its process in task manager, and start a new one. It only ever does this when i delete a large file, empty the recycle bin, or copy/cut and paste a large file from one hard drive to another.
It's only really gotten annoying recently due to me buying 2 500 gig drives and transfering my files from my old storage drives, its been irritating but nothing that cant be fixed within 10 seconds and a couple of mouse clicks, but seeing as im sat here bored waiting for my files to transfer waiting for explorer to die and having to copy and paste the next 10/15 files i might as well ask here and get help from people who know more than me
My current build is:
4000+XP
A8N-SLI Premium
2x 7800gtx
Sata:
1x 36GB raptor (system drive widows etc)
1x 74GB raptor (games)
1x 300GB WD drive (storage)
2x 500GB Samsung (new storage drives)
IDE:
2x 120GB WD drives (again storage, will be removed soon)
If anyone has any idea it would be awesome.
