Hi,
Will i get better performance out of my system if i turn off the paging file? (0mb)

I have 2gb ram, as in my sig.
Someone told me i would get better performance running no paigng file.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

If you're sorely lacking in ram and you have two seperate hard disk drives, you can create one pagefile on each drive and speed up paging.

This only really makes your pc more responsive if you're tabbing in and out of a memory intensive app (supreme commander with 82km maps and 8 players)

I'm still open to suggestions if anyone else thinks differently btw :p
lol
If anyone thinks turning off the paging file is a good idea then don't listen to them :) They obviously don't have the first clue about how modern operating systems work.
