XP problem

In my computer the hdd i use to store music and and stuff now looks like a dvd drive does, ive no idea how to get rid of this and its annoying

I believe what you're after is:

Tools; Folder Options; File Types and somewhere close to the top is the drive icon you're looking for (I would imagine at any rate)
