A friend of the family has a Dell, complete with XP MCE as a "reinstall" DVD which came with it, unfortunately his HDD developed several bad sectors and it's fallen on me to replace it.
If I simply buy another drive, will XP reinstall ok with no problems even though it's an OEM copy? I'm assuming that it's only a motherboard swap that'd cause problems (right?).
