Subject line says it all, really. I just had a look at logs and found that I have hit the tcp/ip open connections limit recently, often several times per day. I don't do any filesharing and I don't play games online...so is it normal that I hit the limit or does it imply some malware that I've missed?
XP SP3 hitting tcp/ip limit without p2p - normal?

I did search online.
I found what I already knew - the limit severely affects filesharing and is easily increased.
SP3 has the same limit as before, but that's not the point.
Nor is the filesharing-related stuff you'll find with Google et alia.
